What is my passion and how can I use it in my work?
Who is my audience and how do I connect the work to the audience?
What are my strengths and weaknesses?
What resources do I need to improve them?
How does my work affect others?
Welcome!
This class is designed to challenge you to take risks inside and outside of school. It will help you to explore your role as a citizen of this world. You will pick a topic that you are passionate about and create a documentary video devoted to this topic. Consider the use of all different media. This is a place for exploration, we will work with a variety of different media including, video, sound and animation. Throughout the year we will look at activists who push social, political and cultural boundaries. Although, you may not be able to change the whole world, I hope that you will be able to gain the confidence and resources you need to help make it a more just place.
